Day-by-day Itinerary
- Day 1: Xian Arrival
Upon your arrival in Xian, our local driver will greet you at Xian airport by holding a welcome board with your name and then transfer you to your downtown hotel. The rest of the day is free for you.
If time permits, we recommend trying China's most famous hot pot restaurant, Hai Di Lao. We recommend the branch in Saige Shopping Center or the one in North Square of Big Wild Goose Pagoda so that you can shop as well as wander around, as customers usually have to wait about 30 minutes or more for their hot pot.

Hai Di Lao Hot Pot - Day 2: Xian City TourExplore Historical Sites in Xi'an and Learn How to Make Dumplings
In the morning, your guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel and escort you to the first stop of this 4-day Xian tour - the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the landmark of Xi'an. Standing at 64 meters, it was built to store Buddhist scriptures brought by monk Xuanzang from India. If you are interested, pay an additional fee to climb up the pagoda and enjoy the panoramic view of the city.
Afterward, be transferred to visit the ancient Xian City Wall, which is a military defensive system in old times. Encircling the heart of Xian, it is one of the largest and most well-preserved city walls in China. You can take a leisure walk or rent a bike (optional) on the top of the wall and enjoy panoramic views of the city.
Learn to Make Dumplings Noon: You have two choices for lunch:
1. Visit a local family and have lunch with the family. You will have a lesson on dumpling making or famous Chinese cuisine cooking. If you like, you also can prepare lunch with the host and enjoy your fruits of labor.
2. Have lunch in Laosunjia Restaurant where you could try the best Bread Pieces Soaked in Lamb/Beef Soup. Other local foods like noodles and cold dishes are also worth trying.
In the afternoon, pay a visit to Xi'an Museum. The large number of historical & cultural relics in the museum will tell you the history of Xi'an. Within the museum grounds, see the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, an elegant structure that stands as a testament to ancient Chinese craftsmanship and spirituality. Next, take a walk in the Muslim Quarter to explore the best-known food street in Xian. You will find lots of local snacks here. Our guide will introduce and recommend food and restaurants according to your interests.

In the morning, your guide and driver will collect you from the hotel for an immersive folk culture and local cuisine exploration. A 1.5-hour drive takes you to Yuajiacun, which is a traditional Chinese village covering an area of kilometers, consisting of a snack street, a Muslim street, a cultural street, a bar street, an art gallery, and more. The Qin opera performance here has been listed as a national intangible cultural heritage. You can taste the authentic local cuisine or participate in cultural activities such as grinding noodles, weaving, making vinegar, grinding soybeans, and making tofu.
In the afternoon, continue your Xian tour package to the famous Terracotta Warriors and Horses. Discovered in 1974, the site consists of three large pits containing more than 8,000 life-size Terracotta Warriors, horses and chariots. During the 2.5-hour visit, you will learn some facts, including who built it, why it was built, and so on. At the same time, you will also have a brief understanding of the deeds of China's first emperor.
Terracotta Warriors and Horses in Xian In the evening, you will go to a theater to taste delicious dumping dinner and enjoy a spectacular Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show. The show lasts about 1 hour and 10 minutes. The guide and driver will escort you back to the hotel.

Dumpling Dinner - Day 4: Xian Departure
Enjoy your leisurely morning. Then our local driver will pick you up at your hotel lobby and transfer you to the airport according to your flight schedule. This is the end of your 4 days tour in Xian.
